TGI spacer The company Technoform developed the spacer. The spacer consists of a composite of stainless steel and plastic. The outer stainless steel foil secures the gas tightness and the thermal separation is ensured by the plastic. The spacer is obtainable in widths of 8-24 mm and is also available in black, white, gray and brown (RAL 9005, 9016, 7035, 7040, 8003 and 8016).

The insulating glass edge seal An insulating glazing consists of two window panes, where the space between those is filled with air, inert gas or gas mixtures. They internal abut on spacers. Here an edge seal needs to be created, which on the one hand prevents the penetration of water vapor into the gap between the panes but also does not allow the escape of air or gas mixture from the gap between the panes. This can be avoided by a primary sealant - a completely enclosed butyl cord - and the secondary polysulfide sealant that is applied between the spacer and the edge of the glass pane. This thermally separated edge seal (ITS) can also be described as a warm edge.

Thermal permeability coefficient The thermal permeability coefficient of a window indicates how much energy is lost at a temperature difference of 1 Kelvin (=1° C) per second and per square meter window area. The lower the value, the lower the amount of heat lost. A large influence on the thermal permeability coefficient is the coating, gas filling and width of gap between the panes (of the insulating glass).

Thermally seperated edge seal An edge seal made of stainless steel (instead of the conventional aluminum spacer) is used on a thermally separated edge seal, also known as a warm-edge, and has a thermal permeability coefficient, which is reduced about 0.1 W/m²K

Thermix TX.N The current Thermix TX.N spacer combines stainless steel with highly insulating plastic and is supplied as standard in light gray or black.
Available sizes are: 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 mm in width. Other versions are in preparation.

Total energy permeability (DIN EN 410) The total energy permeability g refers to the wavelength range from 300 nm to 2500 nm. It is the sum of the radiation transmitted directly through and the secondary heat emission inwards (radiation and convection).

TPS spacer The TPS spacer (TPS stands for Thermo Plastic Spacer) consists of a thermoplastic material with embedded desiccant. This secures improved thermal insulation on the edges of the insulating glass ("warm edge"). With argon fillings it is also possible to achieve a UV resistant edge seal. The TPS spacer is available in black, in sizes up to 18 mm gap between the panes.

TRAV TRAV = Technical regulations for the use of accident-proof glazing.
This includes the requirements on constructive constraints that must be guaranteed for the installation of glass structures with proven impact resistance. The TRAV is predominantly used for fixed glazed lower lights and stairwell windows, provided there is a danger of falling.

Triangular window The triangular window can be opened usually by a turning or tilting mechanism. According to the structural conditions it is also possible to produce the window in a turn-tilt-variant. The angle should not be less than 30°. Triangular windows are usually used in the roof area, for example for fully glazed roof dormers and gables.
